As part of the world’s first 4D sound system in a production car, Mercedes Benz has made it possible for listeners to personalize their sound with Sound Personalization, creating their own unique Sound Profile and enjoy music on a new level.
The team of composers, producers and engineers at High Tide - Immersive Audio work closely with Burmester and Mercedes Benz to deliver the best possible listening experience to their customers. Through the use of bespoke composed music a setup wizard was designed to intuitively guide customers through settings without any technical knowledge needed.
The individually composed music tracks are unique to each vehicle class and reflect their USPs and characteristics. These tracks have modular and loopable elements which then are divided into groups of different frequency spectrums. One by one the car guides the listener through these groups of instruments and encourages them to intuitively change volumes, balances and other facets in an easy “slider-only” way.
